Ironically in the month of the “me too” campaign, a judge in Portugal, 2017, has mitigated the guilt of two men who kidnapped and brutally attacked a woman due to her poor conduct as a “dishonest” woman. Briefly summarising the facts, a married woman had an affair – when she decided to end it, the former lover kidnapped her and called the husband to beat her up. Casual, right? The judge decided to almost exonerate both men, seeing that they had been “humiliated” by the actions of this dishonest woman. Amongst other things, the judge quoted the bible (where it is stated that adulterous women should be killed), outdated criminal law and referred to countries in which adulterous women are stoned to death. This decision is not just shocking, it’s terrifying.
Ironicamente, no mês da campanha “Eu também um juiz em Portugal, 2017, tem a culpa de dois homens que raptaram e atacaram brutalmente uma mulher devido à sua má conduta como uma mulher” desonesta Resumindo os factos, uma mulher casada teve um caso – quando decidiu acabar com ele, o ex-AMANTE RAPTOU-a e chamou o marido para lhe bater. Casual, não é? O Juiz decidiu quase exonerar ambos os homens, vendo que tinham sido “humilhados” pelas ações desta mulher desonesta. Entre outras coisas, o juiz citou a Bíblia (onde se afirma que as mulheres adúltera devem ser mortas), o direito penal ultrapassada e se refere a países em que as mulheres adúltera são pedrado até à morte. Esta decisão não é apenas chocante, é aterrorizante.
